Prince of Peace, O Gentle Saviour, Hark, O hearken as we sing

With the angels o’er the stable, We adore our Infant King.

Peace on earth to men of good-will, Sang the angels from on high

Peace, O Peace, dear Infant Saviour, T’is the burden of our cry.

From the manger, Thou hast power, O’er the hearts and souls of men.

Only raise Thy hands in blessing, Peace on earth will reign again.

Bless the world, O Infant Saviour, Let all strife and turmoil cease,

O sweet Infant Jesus, we hail Thee, Our Saviour, our God and our King!

The Word in our flesh dwelling with us, our hearts all adore as we sing!

Though Thou art the great God of Heaven, we exiles on earth for a while

Rejoice in thy sweet consolation, the light of thy heavenly smile.

Thy right hand is raised up to bless us, the world in Thy left hand doth lie;

Then how can we fail, Lord, to hasten, to Thee when e’er sorrow is nigh?

Dear Infant Jesus, hear our prayer, forget not Thy promises so true.

That when we but honour and love Thee, Thy blessings are lavished anew.

O sweetest Child Jesus we love Thee, our lives mirror Thine ev’ry day

In mercy and justice to others, for then Thou will heed when we pray.

Little King, we all trust in Thy goodness, our needs now we place in Thy care

We know Thou will hear us and help us; and let us Thy great blessings share.
