Dear Patrons of the Shrine of the Infant Jesus,
On many occasions in the past, because of the accumulation of wax in the trough of the candle stand it ignites and there is a blaze. This is dangerous because it happens at any time. On some occasions we were able to douse the fire before it turned into a blaze, but on other occasions we were not able to do so till it was almost a furnace.
In the light of the danger that the candle stands pose and in the light of protecting our environment, we have removed the Candle stands. We will soon come out with an alternative for you to express your devotion and love for the Infant Jesus.
We thank you for your constant generosity to the Shrine and to the poor. We also thank you for your understanding.
May God be with you and your families, may the Infant Jesus bless you and may Mary keep interceding.

The feast of St. John the Evangelist
Please tell me know the feast day for 2022. R the churches open this year?
Dear Rupali,
We will have the fest in 2023. The date is February 11, 2023 and the days of the Novena are February 2-10, 2023. May God be with you, may the Infant Jesus bless you and may Mary always intercede.
Dear Fr
Humble request please remove the candle stand, apart from being responsible for global warming it is not good to paly with fire
The only and best alternative is to keep a drum or box for devotees to drop the candles and no lighting candles, must be written in bold. The same process is adapted at MOUNT MARY BANDRA.
Dear Stephen,
The Candle stand has long been removed. Thanks for your valuable suggestion. May God be with you, may the Infant Jesus bless you and may Mary always intercede.
Very good
May God be with you Alex, may the Infant Jesus bless you and may Mary always intercede.
Dear, Father please use sea sand for candles to be lit, no need of extra stand and the wax can be collected easy by a tool like fork or by hand, this wax can be reused.
Dear Danny,
I have stopped the lighting of candles at the Shrine in order to do our part to protect the envireoment. May God be with you, may the Infant Jesus bless you and may Mary always intercede.
